Isolated Incident on Development Server

We experienced an intrusion of a sample data set on one of our development servers.  As the data was not actively in use by any of our clients, we immediately shut down the server.

This was an isolated intrusion, stemming from a white hat group who was searching for a known vulnerability in couchDB. (Literally, searching IP addresses one-by-one to find out if couchDB was there.)  We have diligently conducted a forensic audit confirming the data set was not downloaded.

Data security and confidentiality is of the utmost importance to us.

Please reach out if you have any questions or concerns.
